Free data migration
Send us an export from your current system. We'll bring your customers, inventory and open loans across, and you check the result before you go live. We'll look at a sample first, so you know what comes across before you commit.
Month to month
No long contract. If you ever leave, the software still opens your records read-only, and your backups are standard database files that any IT professional can open without us.

Before you ask
What do I need to run it?
A Windows PC for the counter. Tablets and phones on your shop's Wi-Fi can use it through their browser. Receipts and price tags print on any printer. For a cash drawer that opens itself you need a network (Ethernet) receipt printer with the drawer plugged into it, and we'll tell you which models to buy.
Does it need the internet?
No. The counter keeps working without it. The internet is only used for things you switch on, such as spot prices, text reminders and LeadsOnline reporting.
Where is my data, and who can see it?
On your computer, in your shop. It's never sent to us. Customer ID photos are encrypted with a key only you hold. Read how your data is protected.
Can I get my data out if I leave?
Yes. It's already in your building. If your subscription ends, the software keeps opening your records read-only, so you can look things up, print and back up. Backups are ordinary PostgreSQL database files, not a private format that only we can read.
Do I need my own texting account?
No. We register your shop with the phone carriers and run the texting for you. Registration usually takes two to three weeks after you sign up, so reminders start a little after the rest of the system. Customers only get texts after they say yes at the counter.
What if we send more than 1,000 texts in a month?
They still go out. We never stop a borrower's reminder partway through a month. The app shows your running count, and if a shop regularly needs more, we'll talk it over before anything changes.
Which states do you support?
Michigan. Interest, storage fees and the buy, pawn and police holds follow Michigan pawn law. If your shop is in another state, talk to us before you buy, and we'll tell you honestly what fits and what doesn't.
Do you take card payments?
Keep the card terminal you already use. Every sale records how it was paid, and card payments are kept out of your cash-drawer count.
Do you support firearms (FFL)?
Not yet. Ticket & Till is built for pawn, jewelry and precious-metals shops first. Firearms support is on the roadmap.
