Your shop's records stay in your shop.

The short version

• Ticket & Till runs on a computer in your shop. Your customers, loans, ID photos and transactions are stored there and are never sent to us.
• The software only talks to an outside service when your shop switches that service on, and each one gets only what it needs to do its job.
• We don't sell personal information, and we don't use advertising trackers.

Who is responsible for what

Your shop decides what records to keep about its customers and controls them. Sheeva Software LLC supplies the software and doesn't hold or see those records. If you are a customer of a shop that uses Ticket & Till and have a question about your information, please ask the shop: they hold your records, not us.

Data that stays on your shop's computer

Customer details, ID photos, loans, inventory, sales, the cash drawer, staff and the audit trail are all stored in a database on the shop's own computer, along with the shop's backups. ID photos and the passwords the shop gives the software are encrypted with a key only the shop holds. Sheeva Software LLC has no copy and no way in.

What we receive from your shop

• Your licence. To issue a licence we receive the shop's name, a contact, and the computer's ID code, which the shop sends us. The licence is checked on your computer; the software doesn't report back to us.
• Support. If you ask for help, you may send us a support bundle from the "Ticket & Till Support" tool. It contains status information and program logs, never customer records, keys or the licence file. We use it only to fix your problem.
• Moving your data. If we migrate your records from another system, we receive the export you send us, use it only to set up your shop, and delete our copy when the move is done.
• Billing and correspondence. Your business contact details, invoices, and anything you write to us.

Outside services the software can connect to

Each of these is off until your shop sets it up. When it's on, the shop's computer connects directly to the service.

Spot metal prices

Requests current gold, silver and platinum prices from GoldAPI.io. No customer information is sent.

Text messages

Sends reminders and replies to customers who agreed to receive texts at the counter. The message and phone number pass through our text-message provider (Twilio) so they can be delivered, or through the shop's own Android phone if it uses that option. We and our provider use them only to deliver messages and to honour STOP requests.

LeadsOnline

Sends pawn and buy reports, including the customer's identity and ID photo, to LeadsOnline under the shop's own account, as Michigan law requires. These go directly from the shop to LeadsOnline, not through us.

eBay

Sends item photos and listing details to the shop's own eBay seller account, and to eBay's AI when the shop asks it to draft a listing. No customer information is sent. The sign-in eBay gives the software is stored encrypted on the shop's computer.

Claude (Anthropic)

When the shop uses its own Anthropic account to draft listings, item photos and item details are sent to write the draft. No customer information is sent.

Information sent to these services is also covered by their own privacy policies.

The eBay connection on this website

Two addresses on this site exist only for eBay. ticketandtill.com/ebay/accepted is where eBay sends a shop's browser after the shop approves Ticket & Till, so the browser can return to the shop's own computer. ticketandtill.com/ebay/account-deletion receives eBay's notices when an eBay member closes their account. Neither one stores anything: we keep no eBay member data on our servers, and the approval code only passes through to the shop's computer.

This website

• There are no accounts and no sign-up forms. If you email us, we receive your address and your message.
• Our host, Cloudflare, records routine technical details of each request (such as IP address and browser) to run and protect the site.
• The site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Your light or dark choice is saved in your own browser.
• The walkthrough video on the home page loads from YouTube only when you press play. From then on, YouTube's privacy policy applies to the video.

Text messages from us

We don't sell or share text-message opt-in data or phone numbers with third parties for their marketing. Texts from Sheeva Software LLC itself are covered by the Sheeva Software LLC privacy policy and terms.

Keeping and deleting information

We keep licence and billing records for as long as the law and ordinary bookkeeping require, and correspondence for as long as we need it to help you. Support bundles and migration files are deleted once the job is done. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
